October 27, 2023: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL), part of the big Mahindra Group, has done something new in India. They have made the first-ever way to buy a home in the Metaverse. This new thing is called Bastion at Mahindra Citadel. It’s the second part of a big project they are doing.
How did they tell people about this? They used over 500 drones in the sky at night at the place where the homes will be built. These drones showed the special things about these homes.
One of these special things is that you can change the inside of the home the way you like it before you buy it.
Amit Kumar Sinha, the boss of MLDL, said this is very good for the city of Pune. Pune is a place where people like new and exciting things in their homes. The Metaverse lets people feel what the new home will be like.
Mahindra is not new to the Metaverse. Last year, they said they are making 60 Metaverse things. These are for schools, shops, cars, and more. They even made a Metaverse place for people to see their new car called XUV400.
In a meeting about how the company is doing, another boss, C.P Gurnani, said Mahindra will keep making new and different things.
